Changing the Default Camera for Photo Capture

If you have multiple cameras connected to your device, you may need to adjust your settings to ensure the correct camera is used when capturing photos in our application.

  1. Check Your Browser Settings

    • Some browsers allow you to select a default camera for web applications.

    • Navigate to your browser’s settings and look for “Permissions” or “Camera” settings.

    • If available, choose your preferred camera as the default.

  2. Manually Disable Other Cameras

    • If your browser does not provide an option to select a default camera, you can manually disable or disconnect any other cameras.

    • Most computers have a Device Manager (Windows) or System Preferences > Security & Privacy (Mac) where you can disable built-in or external cameras.

  3. Ensure Camera Permissions Are Enabled

    • Make sure your browser has permission to access the camera.

    • If prompted, grant access to the correct camera when using our application.

  4. Restart Your Browser or Device

    • After making changes, restart your browser or computer to ensure the settings take effect.
